After many years years of furniture making and restoration, I also gained an interest in Rocking Horses. Now although I still work on furniture, I mainly work on making and restoring Rocking Horses.
In 2004 I was honoured to be granted a five year Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen for antique restoration at Sandringham House. I show the same level of commitment with all my rocking horses to supply a top quality product.
To qualify for application of a Royal Warrant, a company must have supplied the Warrant Grantor with goods or services over a period of at least five years. An application is then lodged for consideration at the annual meeting of the Royal Household Tradesmen's Warrants Committee. Consideration is given to the quality of goods provided and the standard of service. If the committee agree with the application, a recommendation is made to the head of the relevant household. The final decision is made by the appropriate member of the Royal Family. The Warrant is normally granted for five years, after which it is automatically reviewed.
